CYPRESS, Calif. --- Chloe Sutowski and Kendra Serrano from Women's Soccer have both been named the Nov. 17-24 "Co-Charger Athletes of the Week". 

Kendra Serrano assisted Thania Valencia in their only goal against San Diego Mesa on November 23.  That lone goal was enough to push Cypress into two overtime periods and a penalty kick shootout victory.

Sutowski was the main reason Cypress was able to hang on and earn a first round victory over San Diego Mesa.  Sutowski allowed only one goal in all 120 minutes played and did an incredible job protecting the net.

Sutowski ended the 2013 season with nine wins, four losses, two ties, and three shutouts.

Serrano managed to score four goals on the year as a defender and was able to hit one game winner.  Serrano also started in all 20 games she participated in during the 2013 season.
