Cypress College women's basketball coach Margaret Mohr is hosting her 17th annual summer basketball camp this year. Coach Mohr has coaching experience at the high school, community college, NCAA, and WNBA levels totaling over 27 years of experience. Margaret played at Long Beach State on a basketball scholarship and led her team to the Final Four in 1987. She was inducted into the Long Beach state Hall of Fame in 2011.
The MohrHoops camp will be held at Cypress College from Monday, June 22-Friday, June 26 with a second available session from Monday, July 20-Friday, July 24. Boys and girls age 7-14 can participate in either session. All participants will receive a camp shirt, jersey, basketball, player evaluation, and other prizes. The camp staff will consist of current and former community college, Division 3, Division 2, and Division 1 athletes. The MohrHoops camp has become a favorite for young people passionate about basketball and has sold out the past two summers.
