Women’s Basketball Finishes Season With 23 Wins
The #8 seed Cypress women's basketball team (23-8, 10-2 OEC) wrapped up their season with a 63-41 CCCAA 3rd round playoff loss at #1 seed Mt. Sac (32-0) on Wednesday.

Despite the loss, the Chargers had plenty to be proud of during their 2014-15 season loaded with a talented roster. The Lady Chargers amassed 23 total wins this season, which are the most wins for a women's basketball team since the 23-10 season in 2009. The Chargers 10-2 Orange Empire Conference record earned them a second place OEC finish, with the only loses coming to the league champion Irvine Valley.
This year's team played at an exciting up-tempo pace, averaging 74.2 points per game while holding opponents to an average of 62.8 points per game. The Chargers were led by a balanced attack, with three players averaging double figures and three others averaging over seven PPG.  The future for the Chargers women's basketball program remains bright as they gear up to make another run next season.
