Chargers continued their offensive assault at State, beating Fullerton 10-2
Hartman went 8 and 2/3 innings, striking out 5 and allowed 2 runs.
Fresno, CA - The Chargers continued to hit hard at the State. They poured on 12 hits against Fullerton en route to a 10-2 victory and one win away from taking home the State crown. Parker Starr and Jonathan Torres scored in the bottom of the 1st inning to set the tone. Then the game was broken loose when six runs were added at the bottom of the 3rd. The Hornets retaliated with two runs in the top of the 4th but that was all of the threat for the day. Ryan Hartman and the Chargers' defense were masterful all day, not allowing the Hornets to reach second base the rest of the way.
The Hornets must play Santa Rosa tonight and the loser goes home. The Chargers on the other hand will rest until 11AM Sunday when they will meet the winner of tonight's elimination game. Bryson Kauhaahaa will likely taking the mound for the Chargers.
