Cypress, CA - The Chargers found themselves in a must-win situation to keep pace in the conference race. On Tuesday when Cypress hosted IVC, it did just that. Stephen Kane went 8 and 1/3 innings striking out 9 batters, walked only 1 and allowed 4 hits for the Chargers (19-11, 7-8) who climbed into fourth in the conference. IVC dropped to 4-11 in conference and 9-20 overall. The Chargers jumped on IVC's starting pitcher AJ Wolfson in the Bottom of the 1st with 4 hits and 2 walks to score 4 early runs. The entire line-up came to bat in the 1st and the Chargers never looked back after adding a run in each th e2nd and 3rd inning. Jonathan Torres went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI and 2 Runs to lead all Chargers.
