Cypress, CA - Stephen Kane did not throw his best game but put the outs when it counted to remain undefeated at 9-0. The Chargers (18-9, 6-6) squeaked by Riverside (17-10, 6-6) by a score of 2-1. Kane threw a CG striking out 8, allowing 6 hits, walked only 2 and one unearned run. Sam Tolleson doubled in the Bottom of the 7th and drove in Blake Davey and Jonathan Torres. The inning started with Torres singled and stole second. Davey walked and Tolleson hit into deep centerfield gap. In the top of the 8th, the Tigers' Josh Clark scored on a wild pitch and an error by first baseman Trent Zaks. Cypress extended to a 4-game winning streak and resided in third place in the conference.
