Cypress, CA - The Chargers were back into winning form at the familiar home turf. Using a 16-hit attack, Cypress (11-5, 2-2) defeated Irvine Valley (7-9, 2-2) by a score of 9-2. It was a good day for Stephen Kane who piled up his record to 5-0 by striking out 8 while allowing only 5 hits in 8 innings. Blake Davey blasted a 2-run shot in the Bottom of the 3rd to put the Chargers up 4-0 and never looked back. Cypress is hosting Golden West this weekend.
