Conference honored Chargers

Cypress, CA - The Orange Empire Conference recognized the Chargers' players for their accomplishments in the 2013 season. The Chargers completed the season with a conference record of 18-3 and tie for first place with Riverside. Voted to the First-Team were  Shortstop Nicole Nobbe and Pitcher Stephanie Luhmann. Voted to the Second-Team were Third Baseman Mallory Campbell and Two-Way Player Alyssia Palomino. All were Sophomores and expected to be on softball scholarships next year 4-year institutions.

  • Luhmann ended the season with a 23-4 record and ERA of 2.02. She ranks first in the conference in innings pitched with 163.
  • Palomino pitched to a 10-3 record and a 2.14 ERA. She batted .492/.563/.770.
     
  • Nicole Nobbe batted .521/.617/.773 and ranks #1 in the conference with her batting average, on-base average, 62 hits and 16 doubles.

  • Campbell batted .394/.445/.515 and tied with her teammate Nobbe in doubles with 16.
