Cypress, CA- The Cypress women's volleyball team finished the regular season with a 15-8 regular season record and an 11-6 record in the Orange Empire Conference, which landed them third place in the OEC standings. During the annual OEC coaches meeting, two Chargers were selected to the All-Conference teams for the 2019 season.

Cypress' Mary Hicks received All-Orange Empire Conference First Team honors, while teammate Danielle Gomez was selected to the All-OEC Second Team.

Freshman Mary Hicks was dominant for the Chargers all season. She led the team with 246 kills, 55 blocks, and scoring a total of 278.5 points. The outside hitter had a very consistent season notching 12 games with double-digit kills.

Sophomore Danielle gomez has had a standout season as the setter for the Charger's. She led the team with 794 assists and finished #3 in the OEC with 9.23 assists per set. Gomez appeared in all 23 matches for Cypress this season.
