Cypress, CA - Sloan Turner shattered the blocks record for both single season and career. Turner became the top blocker in a single season with 117 blocks. She broke a Charger record set by Antares Vice of 66 in the 1998-99 season. She set a career block shots of 182 and previously set by Yolanda Harvey of 93 during her career between 1992-1994. From the naked eyes, Turner's record is not likely to be broken anytime soon.

Turner also moved into the #5 Charger slot for single season rebounds at 321 (10.7 rpg) and #2 career rebounds of 597.

Turner was selected Conference Player of the Year and First-Team All-State back in March.
