"Mohr so" this is a championship team

Cypress, CA - The 2012-13 chapter of the Orange Empire Conference makes it virtually improbable to guess or predict which team would have came out on top or in the bottom. "This is why we play the game," according to coach Margaret Mohr. Though Mohr's team was expected to produce good results this season with experienced Sophomores, an 11-1 conference feast was not being predicted. In 2005, Mohr made her journey to capture the State Crown with only eight players. The "Great Eight" was labeled that season, as those players were grinding out victories that they had no business doing so.

Mohr who played a lead role on a dominant team at Long Beach State in 1986-87 that went to the Final Four, and was inducted into the 49er Hall of Fame in 2011, sharing the winning attitude to every player who came through her Charger program. Mohr also coached the LA Sparks of the WNBA for two seasons under former Laker great, Michael Cooper, brought in a dynamic philosophy to this level of JC ball.  On her 15th season of leading the Chargers, Mohr has not missed a heartbeat of excitement, and has all of her players buying into the system.

The 2013 version looks like it can fit the mold. Playing with a passion every minute when these grinding Chargers are on the floor, they certainly accomplish the dream of every college basketball players.  The Chargers are awaiting the announcement of the fields of the Stare tournament that is expected to come out on Monday.
