The Cypress College softball field has added new flags and banners to showcase a strong history that stretches over Head Coach Brad Pickler's 30 years at the helm.
The outfield wall now showcases the Charger softball program's 20 Orange Empire Conference Championships, 9 State Championships, and 24 State Tournament appearances. The wall also features dedications to Skeeter Sabin, Sonia Travers, and Jenny Lopez.
Skeeter Sabin was very involved with the Cypress College softball program and local community. Sonia Travers assisted with all Cypress College athletic programs for over 20 years. Jenny Lopez played for the softball team in 1994 and 1995, where she received All-Conference and All-American honors before moving on to play at the University of Oklahoma.
