Cypress College softball standout Taylor Pierce received Charger of the week honors during practice on Tuesday.
Taylor Pierce earned Charger of the week for Feb. 2-Feb. 8. Pierce (5-1) led the Chargers from the mound allowing only five hits and two runs through ten innings pitched in three appearances. She was also lighting it up from the plate. During the four game span she collected six hits, five RBI, and two home runs to help lead Cypress to victories in all four games. The span included wins over Cerritos, El Camino, Rio Hondo, and Canyons.
