Cypress Steamrolls Past LA Harbor, 17-4
Chargers’ Early Offensive Explosion Too Much for Seahawks
CYPRESS, CA – The Cypress Chargers dominated the LA Harbor Seahawks in a commanding 17-4 victory, fueled by an early offensive surge and a stellar pitching performance.
The Chargers wasted no time asserting control, jumping out to a seven-run lead with a five-run second inning. The early scoring outburst set the tone for the game, as Cypress never looked back.
The offensive fireworks continued late in the contest, with the Chargers erupting for eight runs in the bottom of the eighth inning. The highlight of the night came off the bat of first baseman George Papadatos, who crushed a towering grand slam to put the game completely out of reach. Papadatos led the team with four RBIs on the night.
On the mound, starting pitcher Brandon Wyland set the tone, allowing just two hits and no runs over five innings. The Cypress bullpen maintained the dominance, surrendering only four hits across the final four frames to seal the victory.
The Chargers' offense was relentless throughout the game. In addition to Papadatos' grand slam, Dustin Robinson added a home run, while Justin Tillar contributed two doubles.
UP NEXT: the Chargers will be away facing the Moorpark Raiders on Saturday February, 1st.
