Cypress, CA - Cypress Chargers women's tennis (0-2, 0-0 OEC) began their 2023 season at home on Friday when they hosted Glendale College and College of the Canyons. After a hard fought first match from the entire roster, Cypress fell short to the visiting Vaqueros, 0-5. In the second match, the Chargers lost to the Cougars, 0-5.
Women's Tennis standouts, Haena So and Jayda Steele, have qualified for both singles and partners at the CCCAA SoCal Regionals on April 29-30. So and Steele both came out victorious in the Orange Empire Conference tournament on April 8th to qualify for the State Championships later this month.
Cypress women's tennis (6-6, 2-4 OEC) hosted the Fullerton Hornets on Thursday afternoon in their second matchup of the season. The Chargers were able to take care of the Hornets on their home court, 8-1.

Cypress Chargers women's tennis (1-0) began their 2022 campaign at home on Tuesday afternon when they played host to Mt. San Jacinto College. Cypress was able to start the season on the right foot as they defeated the Eagles, 7-2.

CYPRESS, CA - The Cypress women's tennis team (2-8, 2-8 OEC) closed out their 2021 season against Orange Coast (9-0, 9-0 OEC) on Thursday afternoon after losing to the Pirates, 9-0.

The Orange Empire Conference (OEC) has nominated Cypress College men's soccer, Dakota Nering, and women's tennis athlete, Jayda Steele, as the recipients for the 2021 Nevco Character Champion Award. Each year, the OEC names one male and one female student-athlete from each member of every OEC college to the Nevco Character Champion Team, while naming two top winners of the Nevco Character Championship Award. This award is given to the student-athletes who display the following values; sportsmanship, respect, caring, fairness, civility, honesty, integrity, and responsibility shown through a specific action, ideally directed toward an opponent during competition.

The Cypress women's tennis team (2-6, 2-6 OEC) secured their second win of the season against Saddleback (0-8, 0-8 OEC) on Wednesday afternoon, 7-2.
