CYPRESS, CA – The Cypress Chargers women's soccer team celebrated a thrilling 3-1 victory over Orange Coast, marking their second consecutive win. Megan Alcantara's penalty goal in the second half secured the game for the Chargers.

The Chargers took control from the start, with Kristine Ramirez delivering a stunning 30-yard strike into the top right corner early in the first half, setting Cypress up with a 1-0 lead. Just three minutes into the second half, Luna Khazem doubled the advantage, slotting a goal from the middle of the box off an assist from Itzel Ramirez, giving the Chargers a comfortable 2-0 edge.

Orange Coast responded twelve minutes later, narrowing the gap to 2-1. However, Cypress continued to dominate, outshooting Orange Coast 14-3 in the second half. In the 65th minute, Alcantara's successful penalty kick solidified the Chargers' 3-1 lead and sealed the victory.
