CYPRESS, CA- Cypress women's soccer (11-2-3, 7-2-2 OEC) finished Tuesday's game with a 3-0 victory over the Golden West Rustlers (8-9, 5-6 OEC).

The opening goal for Cypress was scored by Carisia Raygoza who found the back of the net with a shot fired down the middle. 

Then, Christine Duarte looked to center the ball deep in the box and one of the defenders kicked the ball into the net. The Chargers were up 2-0 at the 36th minute.

The third and final goal for the Chargers was made by Melanie Hernandez with the assist from Alyssa Villalobos in a two-on-two break away. 

The Chargers continued to dominate possession in the second half and eventually completed the shutout victory against Golden West College.  

UP NEXT: The Chargers travel to Santa Ana College on Friday, November 4th. Kick-off will start at 3PM.
