Cypress Chargers men's soccer team (4-2-2) hosted the Moorpark Raiders (4-3-1) on Friday afternoon. The Chargers fought hard but fell short to the Raiders, 2-0.

CYPRESS, CA - Cypress Chargers men's soccer team (4-2-2) hosted the Moorpark Raiders (4-3-1) on Friday afternoon. The Chargers fought hard but fell short to the Raiders, 2-0.
The Chargers' defense struggled in the first half allowing 2 goals by the Raiders. Though the Chargers led the game in both shots (10) and corner kicks (9) they were unable to find the back of the net. Freshman, Julio Perez, had a great opportunity to score in the first half but fired a shot that connected with the crossbar (21'). Kyle O'Brien, had a couple chances to get a head on the ball off corner kicks but was unlucky. The Chargers held their own on the defensive end playing Moorpark even, 0-0, in the second half.
