San Luis Obispo, CA - The Chargers defeated Cuesta 5-0 to eliminate the Cougars from the Regionals. The Chargers are advancing to play in the Saddleback Super Region and facing Mt SAC in the first round. The Chargers made it back to back Super Regional appearances. Last year they played in the Orange Coast Regionals but were eliminated in two games.

Lefty Ryan Hartman pitched a shutout of 8 and 1/3 inning, allowing only four hits and walked two and struck out five. The offense manufactured nine hits and five runs. Brandon Morones went 2-for-4 snd drove in a run in the bottom of the 4th to stretch the Charger lead to 4-0.
