Cypress Offensive Surge Secures Victory
CYPRESS, CA – Cypress College bounced back with a strong offensive performance, racking up 10 hits and eight runs to claim a decisive win.
Shortstop Makayla Motis led the charge, going 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Mickayla Galaviz also contributed with a solid 2-for-3 performance, adding an RBI and a run. Carly Parmenter and Nanea Kyle each added an RBI, while Jayda Maldonado chipped in with a key hit to drive in a run.
The team showcased efficiency at the plate, with Aliyah Hill scoring twice and Dempsey Wood crossing home to add to the tally. Behind the plate, Tina Payne brought in an insurance run to help secure the Chargers victory.
Cypress capitalized on their opportunities, leaving only four runners on base while putting constant pressure on the opposing defense. Their disciplined approach at the plate and ability to drive in runs proved pivotal in the victory.
With this win, Cypress continues to build momentum as they look ahead to their next matchup.
