CYPRESS, CA – The Cypress Chargers Men's Water Polo team pulled off an exciting overtime victory against Saddleback, winning 21-17 in a hard-fought conference match.
The game remained close throughout, with Cypress holding an early 5-4 lead in the first period. However, Saddleback quickly took control, leading for most of the game. By the start of the fourth period, the Chargers trailed 15-12.
In a dramatic comeback, the Chargers went on a 4-1 run, scoring two crucial goals in the last minute to force the game into overtime. Cypress dominated the extra period, securing a 21-17 victory.
UP NEXT: The Chargers look to continue conference play as they hit the road to face Las Positas at West Valley College for a tournament on Friday, October 11.
