Two Cypress Freshmen Named to All-OEC Team

CYPRESS, CA- The Chargers Men's Water Polo team had two selections: Freshmen, Otto Nash, was named First Team All-OEC and Aydann Hambruch was named Second Team All-OEC. 

Otto Nash - Goalie

In goal for the Chargers was Otto Nash, a Freshman, who was named First Team All-OEC this season. Not only was Nash an excellent goalie saving 111 shots, he was also an offensive force totaling 15 goals, leading the team with 21 steals and tallying 10 assists. 

Aydann Hambruch - Utility 

Aydann Hambruch was an all around player for the Chargers this year. His consistent efforts contributed greatly to the Charger's success. He ranked second on the team with his 38 goals while also recording 20 steals and 8 assists.

 

Honorable Mentions

Cypress had two All-OEC Honorable Mentions this season: John Howard Zeff and Sawyer Nering. John Howard Zeff, a Sophomore Center, had 28 goals, 2 assists, and 6 steals on the season. Sawyer Nering, a Sophomore utility player, had 17 goals, 11 assists, and 14 steals.
