CORONA, Calif. ---  Spencer Wilde (68), Spencer Saunders (70), and James Kim (71) led the Charger men to a very respectable second place finish at the Green River Golf Course in Corona on Wednesday afternoon.

The second place finish also marks the best finish for the Charger golf team in the 2014 season. 

Cypress came into the clubhouse with an impressive combined score of 361.  A 361 usually takes first place in any OEC matchup, unfortunatley for the Chargers,  that wasn't enough to catch the Orange Coast College score of 357.

The highly impressive performance helped move the Chargers into the fourth place spot in the OEC standings ahead of Saddleback College and Irvine Valley.

This type of performance should give the Charger men some momentum heading into the OEC Tournament that takes place on Monday, April 28, at the Los Serranos Golf Course.
