Baseball Super Regional Preview: Cypress vs. Fullerton
The Chargers (26-12, 12-9) will take on fellow Orange Empire Conference powerhouse Fullerton College (18-21, 11-10) in the Super Regional at Cypress College this weekend.

CYPRESS, CA – The Chargers (26-12, 12-9) will take on fellow Orange Empire Conference powerhouse Fullerton College (18-21, 11-10) in the Super Regional at Cypress College this weekend.
#4 Baseball swept #13 El Camino in the SoCal Regional round last weekend with an 11-4 win in game one followed by a dramatic 4-3 victory in game two. The Chargers will have another exciting match-up this weekend as they take on district rival # 17 Fullerton College in a best-of-three Super Regional series. The Hornets swept through # 2 Glendale in the SoCal Regional and won the regular season series over Cypress.
The Chargers and Hornets have established a storied postseason baseball rivalry over the years. In 2013 Cypress defeated Fullerton in the State Championship game and just last year the Hornets eliminated the Chargers in the SoCal Regional after a 16 inning thriller.
The series is set to begin Friday, May 13th at 2:00pm. Game two is scheduled for Saturday, May 14th at 12:00pm followed by a game three on Sunday, May 15th at 12:00pm (If necessary).
