CYPRESS, CA- Cypress Chargers beach volleyball stars, Tainea Allen and Jordon Wilson, were selected to the All Orange Empire Conference first-team, while Amanda Risch and Kaelie Tulette represented the Chargers on the second-team.

Jordon Wilson and Tainea Allen teamed up as the Cypress one's in the 2022 season where they finished with a 5-3 record as teammates. Allen is a Cypress HS alum who is coming off a fantastic freshman indoor volleyball season where she earned second-team honors. Jordon Wilson is in her first year with the Chargers as the 6'1 star was a problem for the opposition all season. Wilson and Allen will also represent Cypress in the CCCAA Regional Pairs finals on May 6th. 

Amanda Risch and Kaelie Tulette were paired as partners for most of the 2022 season as they finished with a 4-5 record. Risch's second-team selection is her second in as many years as they sophomore has shined in both of her seasons. Amanda was also a second-team All-OEC selection in indoor where the Chargers won the Orange Empire Conference championship. Tulette was dynamic in her first season of beach volleyball as she found success with multiple pairs. Risch and Tulette made it to the Round of 32 before being knocked out of contention in the OEC pairs tournament. 

UP NEXT: Cypress beach volleyball will host Mt. San Antonio and San Diego Mesa on Tuesday, May 3rd for the CCCAA Team So Cal Regionals. The first match will begin at 10am.
