Chargers Take 3rd at CCCAA SoCal Regionals

VENTURA, CA - The Cypress College beach volleyball team (14-7-1, 6-1 OEC) gave it a good run but fell just short on Tuesday in the CCCAA SoCal Regional Playoffs

VENTURA, CA - The Cypress College beach volleyball team (14-7-1, 6-1 OEC) gave it a good run but fell just short on Tuesday in the CCCAA SoCal Regional Playoffs at the Harbor Cove Courts at the Ventura Marina.

The Chargers fell to Long Beach 4-1 with two matches going three sets before falling to Ventura 4-1 in the triangular contest. Long Beach also defeated Ventura 5-0 to advance to the State Final Four while Cypress had to settle for a third place regional finish in their first ever postseason appearance.
