Cypress Track Alumnus Dan Ripley is Selected for the 2024 3C2A Hall of Fame Class
SACRAMENTO, CA - The 3C2A officially announced that Cypress College track and field alum Dan Ripley will be one of six inductees honored as a member of the 2024 3C2A Hall of Fame Class. The induction ceremony will take place in Sacramento on March 27, during the organization's annual convention. Ripley is a member of the Cypress College Athletics Hall of Fame for his collegiate accolades as a 3C2A State Champion and record holder in pole vault.  In 1973, Dan captured the Men's Pole Vault State Championship as a Charger before transferring to San Jose State University where he became the NCAA record holder. After a successful collegiate career, he became a member of the USA National team, winning National Championships in 1978 and 1982. As a coach, Ripley accumulated three State Championships, two State Runner-up finishes, and a two State Track Coach of the Year selections at Long Beach City College.
