Orange Coast College, Costa Mesa, CA - The Chargers went into the conference tournament with five players as Elizabeth Pal was nursing an injury. The short-handed Chargers came away respected but more importantly still have plan to advance to the next round.

Caryssa Sells lost to Sydney Murai of Saddleback 6-2, 6-4
Nicole Roque lost to Jenna Futch of Fullerton 6-2, 6-4
Jasmine Singh lost to Michelle Cyrus of OCC 6-3, 6-1
Devan Johnson beat Alyssa Harper 6-2, 7-6 but lost to Jessica Wilcox of SBK 7-6, 6-3
Sofia Rebolledo beat Lexi Bevins of RCC 6-0, 6-4 then lost to #8 seed Priscilla Cobian 6-1, 6-2
Doubles:
Roque/Rebolledo lost to Saddleback Hein/Markle 6-4, 6-1.
Johnson and Robolledo still have a chance in singles to advance to Ojai if they do well in the back draw. Roque/Robolledo still have an opportunity in redemption in the back draw. The tourney resumes Friday at 9am at OCC.
