Ojai - Jasmine Singh and Devan Johnson carried the momentum from the conference tournament. The duo defeated Jessica Gonxalez and Allie Rosa of College of the Sequoias 6-1, 6-1. Then they advanced into the second round against the overall #2 seed Sara Choi and Shin Yuong of El Camino College. The Chargers already faced the duo from El Camino back on February 19 and once again they defeated the Chargers 6-0, 6-0. 

For coach Michelle Esquivel, the rebuilding year with six freshmen took an unexpected turn. Two Chargers won the first round of the conference tournament. A doubles team advanced to the 2nd round of Ojai. Late in the season, the team played shorhanded due to injuries and still played well enough to advance.
