
Cypress Women's Swim Open the 2025 Season with a Fourth Place Finish
Chargers Made their Season Debut at El Camino College
TORRANCE, CA - Cypress women's swim team traveled to El Camino College for their first meet of the season. The Chargers finished in fourth place out of seven schools.
Leading the team was Isabelle Neri, who competed in 3 individual events and placed first in each one. Neri's strong performances in the 100-yard IM, 200-yard IM, and 300-yard IM were instrumental in the team's success. She had times of 1:13.24, 2:40.74, and 4:10.90
Karly Lepel also contributed significantly to the team's performance, competing in the 50 yard freestyle, 100 yard freestyle, and 200 yard freestyle. Lepel placed in the top 3 in each of her three races showing her dedication. She had times of 30.26, 1:04, and 2:17.75
Marilyn Rodriguez also competed in the 50 yard freestyle, 100 yard freestyle, and 200 yard freestyle, placing top 2 in each event. She posted times of 29.89, 1:03, and 2:24.80
