
Cypress Women's Swim Team Meet at Saddleback for the OEC
MISSION VIEJO, CA - Cypress women's swim finished in fifth place at Saddleback College for the team's first Orange Empire Conference meet of the season.
MISSION VIEJO, CA - Cypress women's swim finished in fifth place at Saddleback College for the team's first Orange Empire Conference meet of the season.
Leading the team was Makayla Serrano, who competed in 3 individual events and earned an impressive 52 points for the team. Serrano's strong performances in the 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle, and 200-yard backstroke were a testament to her hard work and dedication.
Sandra Redding also delivered exceptional performances, competing in 3 individual events and earning 48 points for the team. Redding showcased her skill in the 100-yard butterfly, 100-yard backstroke, and 200-yard butterfly, demonstrating her talent in the pool.
Kaylee Valente contributed significantly to the team's success, competing in 3 individual events and earning 26 points. Valente's performances in the 50-yard backstroke, 100-yard backstroke, and 200-yard backstroke were instrumental in the team's overall performance.
Nicole Wells and Natalie Gardea each competed in 3 individual events, earning 21 and 8 points respectively. Hailee Pike also contributed 8 points to the team's total.
