Cypress Women's Swim Open the 2024 Season with a Third Place Finish
TORRANCE, CA - Cypress women's swim team traveled to El Camino College for their first meet of the season. The Chargers finished in third place out of seven schools.
TORRANCE, CA - Cypress women's swim team traveled to El Camino College for their first meet of the season. The Chargers finished in third place out of seven schools.
Leading the team was Sandra Redding, who competed in 3 individual events and earned 27 points. Redding's strong performances in the 100-yard butterfly, 100-yard backstroke, and 200-yard butterfly were instrumental in the team's success.
Makayla Serrano also contributed significantly to the team's performance, competing in 3 individual events and earning 22 points. Serrano's performances in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle, and 200-yard freestyle showcased her talent and dedication.
Kaylee Valente, Hailee Pike, Natalie Gardea, and Nicole Wells also competed in 3 individual events each, contributing to the team's overall success.
