Cypress, CA - Nicole Nobbe parked the ball over the left fence into the soccer field next door in the Bottom of the 1st to start a big offensive day for the Chargers' 8-2 win over Saddleback. Saddleback (17-9, 6-6) came in with a 7-game winning streak in which the Gauchos scored 82 runs in those games. Nevertheless it was a concern for the Chargers (22-4, 12-2) but not for Stephanie Luhmann who went the distance striking out 7 while walking only 1 batter. The Charger offensive unit expoded with a 12-hit attack in which Mallory Campbell hit 3 doubles and 3 RBIs to roundup a big day.
