Long Beach, CA - The defending state champions and pre-season top-ranked Cypress Chargers opened its season by routing Long Beach 10-2 at the Vikings field. Nicole Nobble went 4-for-4, 2 RBI, a walk and scored 3 runs to lead the Chargers' offense. On the mound, Alyssia Palamino and Stephanie Lumann combined for a 3-hitter, 5-K to put the game out of reach.
