Men's Soccer Win 1-0 at Fullerton in Conference Opener
CYPRESS, CA- The Cypress Chargers (4-1-3, 1-0 OEC) opened conference-play against the Fullerton Hornets (4-4-2, 0-1 OEC) on Tuesday afternoon. Cypress win on the road with a 1-0 victory over the Hornets.

CYPRESS, CA- The Cypress Chargers (4-1-3, 1-0 OEC) opened conference-play against the Fullerton Hornets (4-4-2, 0-1 OEC) on Tuesday afternoon. Cypress secured a 1-0 road victory over the Hornets.
The Chargers had a hard fought battle against their cross-town rivals, Fullerton College. Cypress pushed the momentum out the gate and had an early look to score on a free kick. The ball hit the post and the half ended scoreless for both teams.
The battle continued in the second half with back-and-forward play in the middle of the field. Then, an assist from Julio Perez to Raymond Ramirez put the Chargers ahead 1-0. Cypress kept the defensive pressure up on the Hornets to secure the victory.
UP NEXT: Cypress will travel to San Bernardino College on Friday, September 30th. The game will kickoff at 6:30pm.
