Three members of the 2014 men’s soccer team have been named to Orange Empire All-Conference teams, highlighted by sophomore Aaren Lewis earning first-team accolades.
Cypress – The Charger men’s soccer team (8-9-4, 3-9-2 OEC) wrapped up the 2014 season on Friday afternoon, falling to No. 15 Santiago Canyon 2-1.

Norco – The Cypress men’s soccer team notched a 4-2 road victory at Norco on Tuesday afternoon as Aaren Lewis, the conference’s leading scorer, found the back of the net on two occasions.
Cypress – The men’s soccer team suffered its first home loss of the season on Friday afternoon, falling to Golden West 2-1.
Costa Mesa - The Cypress men's soccer team battled to a 0-0 draw with Orange Coast on Tuesday afternoon and are now 6-1-3 on the year and 1-1-1 in conference play.
Santa Ana, Calif. – The Cypress men’s soccer team (6-1-2, 1-1 OEC) suffered its first loss of the season, falling to Santa Ana College on the road Friday afternoon by a score of 3-1.
Aaren Lewis scored two goals and one assist to help the men’s soccer team (6-0-2, 1-0 OEC) defeat Irvine Valley (1-4-3, 0-1 OEC) in its Orange Empire Conference opener.
For the first time in Cypress College men’s soccer history, the program has ended the non-conference portion of their schedule unbeaten after defeating College of the Desert, 6-5, on the road with temperatures hovering over 100 degrees.
Omar Castro, a two-year captain for the men's soccer team, has been named the Orange Empire Conference Character Champion recipient for the 2013-14 athletic year.
