
Seven Chargers Make 2015 All- Conference Baseball Team
The Orange Empire Conference had a state high seven teams advance to the 2015 postseason, which makes the OEC all-conference team one of the best in the state. The Cypress College baseball team had seven all-conference selections and the Co-Player of the Year.

The Cypress College baseball team had seven all-conference selections and the Co-Player of the Year. Chargers second baseman Jackson Willeford was named Co-Player of the Year- Willeford batted .413 in conference play with 31 hits, 20 runs, and three home runs with 14 RBI.
First team selections for the Chargers include pitcher Jarett Vermillon, catcher John Santospago, infielder Jack Flansburg, and outfielder Aaron Case. Vermillon went 5-2 in nine conference appearances with an ERA of 2.86, 33 strikeouts, and one complete game. Santospago batted .304 in conference play with a .468 slugging percentage and 129 putouts. Flansburg batted .321 in conference with 11 RBI, 19 runs, and a .959 fielding percentage playing a majority of conference games at the shortstop position. Case batted .310 in conference with a .416 on base percentage and a .405 slugging percentage.
