CYPRESS, CA - Cypress Baseball’s Brandon Wyland has been named Charger of the Week for his outstanding performance on the mound in the final game of the series against Saddleback College. Wyland pitched a near-perfect game, only giving up one hit and leading the Chargers to a 2-0 victory.
CYPRESS, CA - Cypress Baseball's Brandon Wyland has been named Charger of the Week for his outstanding performance on the mound in the final game of the series against Saddleback College. Wyland pitched a near-perfect game, only giving up one hit and led the Chargers to a 2-0 victory.
Wyland demonstrated his skill and composure, pitching a complete game with nine innings, allowing only one hit and no runs.
This achievement is particularly notable as it marks the first complete game by a Cypress pitcher since 2017.
