CYPRESS, CA - Chargers Athletics hosted their second annual banquet which recognized the 2022-2023 players and programs.
The event gathered all 14 of the Cypress athletics programs in Gym II for a joyous end-of-year celebration. Gym II provided activities, competitions for prizes and a food truck before the award ceremony. Athletic Director and Associate Dean of Kinesiology, Wes McCurtis delivered multiple speeches and handed out awards across all 14 of the programs.

Best Individual Performance- Best single game performance by any men's or women's athlete for the season.
Shayna Martinez (Volleyball)
Charger of the Year Award- Top overall student-athlete. Awarded for character, athletic achievement and earned a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Camryn Addimando (Softball)
Coaching Staff of the Year- Coaching staff who stood out as a mentor to student-athletes and led team to a successful season.
Women's Basketball
Team of the Year- Awarded for their athletic, academic, community service and overall success for the 2022-2023 season.
