Chargers defeat Saddleback in 5

Mission Viejo, CA - The Chargers were down 2-1 and were one point from losing the match in the fourth set, but kept their poise in winning that set 27-25 and carried the momentum into the deciding 5th set. The Chargers (6-8, 5-3) took command in the final set to (15-10) beat the host Gauchos 3-2 (25-18, 22-25, 20-25, 27-25, 15-10. Ashley Flores led the Chargers with 21 kills and Camille Valenzuela had 34 assists on the offense. Marianne led the defense with 18 digs. The Chargers are in third place in the standings.
