Women’s Tennis Wins Second Straight, Defeats Rio Hondo 9-0
Whittier – The Cypress women’s tennis team (2-2), coming off of its first victory since the 2013 season, shut out Rio Hondo, 9-0, for its second victory of the year.

The Chargers won the doubles points as all three teams tallied wins. Devan Johnson and Jessica Cornea won 8-3, Jasmine Singh and Shamine Singh won 8-1, and Ida Sounalath and Jennifer Ramirez won 8-3.
In singles action, the top four courts were victorious in two sets, while courts five and six went to tie breakers.
