Women's Swim & Dive Take Home 10th at Pasadena

PASADENA, CA – The Cypress College women's swim team faced off against 18 other colleges at The 19th Annual Pasadena Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The Chargers finished 10th overall, and combined with the men for an 11th place finish.

The Chargers 8 swimmers totaled 84 points, swimming in a combined 40 events. Freshman swimmer, Meghan Efseaff, tallied 77 of those points. Efseaff swam in the 50Y freestyle (4th), 100Y fly (2nd), 200Y backstroke (5th), 100Y backstroke (4th), and 200Y fly (3rd). Charger swimmers who also put points on the board: Rachel Rorick, Jade Towgood and Natasha Velez.

The Chargers are back in the pool Thursday, April 18th and Friday, April 19th at Saddleback College for an OEC match-up.
