PASADENA, CA – The Cypress College women's swim team faced off against 18 other colleges at The 19th Annual Pasadena Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The Chargers finished 10^th overall, and combined with the men for an 11^th place finish.

The Chargers 8 swimmers totaled 84 points, swimming in a combined 40 events. Freshman swimmer, Meghan Efseaff, tallied 77 of those points. Efseaff swam in the 50Y freestyle (4^th), 100Y fly (2^nd), 200Y backstroke (5^th), 100Y backstroke (4^th), and 200Y fly (3^rd). Charger swimmers who also put points on the board: Rachel Rorick, Jade Towgood and Natasha Velez.

The Chargers are back in the pool Thursday, April 18^th and Friday, April 19^th at Saddleback College for an OEC match-up.
