Sophomore women's soccer standout Kristen Nolan earned her first Charger of the Week during Monday's practice after outstanding performances in Cypress victories over Irvine Valley and Orange Coast (Oct. 30-Nov. 5).    

Nolan began the week with a two-goal performance in a 4-1 victory on the road over Irvine Valley College. It is the second two-goal game of her career with the first also coming against the Lasers last season. The 2016 All-Orange Empire Conference First-Team selection followed up Tuesday's performance with a strong showing in a big game at home against the Orange Coast College Pirates. Nolan's physical play and relentless attack on the ball helped lift the Chargers to a 1-0 win on Sophomore Day at Ray Haas Field.

The Troy High School alumna currently ranks second on the team in goals (5) and assists (2).
