Chargers Open Season with Strong Runner-Up Finish in First OEC Match
Chargers Swing into Action with Impressive Conference Opener
LAWNDALE, CA - Cypress men's golf team kicked off their 2025 conference with an impressive second-place finish at Alondra Golf Course on February 26.
The Chargers posted a team score of 368, just five strokes behind College of the Desert, who secured the top spot with a 363. Cypress was led by Vince Quintero, who fired a stellar 70, while Grant Muhlenbruch followed with a solid 73. Alex Mascaro (75) and James Luther (72) also delivered strong performances, helping the Chargers edge out Orange Coast (371) and Cuyamaca (371) in a tightly contested leaderboard.
UP NEXT: The Chargers will host an OEC match on Monday, March 10 at Navy Golf Course.
