Potts tabbed 1st-Team All Conference

Santa Ana, CA - The men's basketball coaches in the Orange Empire Conference voted the Chargers' Davon Potts to be on the All-Confefrence First-Team.  Potts who played for Bobby Braswell at Northridge during his freshman season, averaged 19.7ppg, best in the conference. Potts also set a school record hitting 17 of 18 free throws against Irvine Valley. The free throw record was held by Eric Pauley in 1994 at 14.

Potts was under the target for conference opponents all season, being guarded tightly but had never scored under double-digit. More so, Potts had the speed and able to create his shots.  Potts was a prolific offensive player in the category of former Cypress Charger greats Zach Zaragoza, Khalif Boyd, Eric Taylor, Kevin Cook or Houstan Downey.

Potts is being scouted by many D1 programs and expected to be an impact player the next two seasons.
