The Cypress College women's volleyball team (14-5, 5-0 OEC) sits atop the Orange Empire Conference standings with a #8 state ranking heading into tonight's much anticipated showdown with #17 Irvine Valley College (7-4, 4-1 OEC).
The IVC Lasers are reigning state champions and back-to-back Orange Empire Conference Champions looking to make another run this season. At 4-1 in conference play, the Lasers currently sit in second place behind the 5-0 Chargers. Tonight's head-to-head battle on Don Johnson Court has championship implications thus making it the game of the week.
