CYPRESS, CA - Cypress women's tennis faced off against the Fullerton Hornets at home on Thursday, February 29. Despite their best efforts, the Chargers were unable to secure a victory, with the final score ending in favor of Fullerton City College, 9-0.

It was Sarah Aguilar and Khanh Hoang in the first doubles match that put Cypress on the board, however the Hornets pair rallied strong and defeated Cypress, 8-3.

The second doubles match saw Fernanda Romero Mora and Katie Wong struggle against Fullerton as the Hornets finished with a perfect 8-0 score.

During singles play, Aguilar battled to take the first set 6-8 in her match. Unfortunately, Fullerton eventually emerged victorious and defeated the Chargers 9-0. 

UP NEXT: The Chargers will travel to Saddleback College to continue conference-play on Tuesday, March 5. Match is set to begin at 2:00 PM.
