Cypress College Swimmer, Makayla Serrano, Qualifies for 3C2A State Championships in Two Events

CYPRESS, CA - Cypress College is proud to announce that Makayla Serrano, a member of the Cypress College Swim team, has qualified for the 3C2A State Championships in two events: the 500 YD Free and the 1650 YD Free. Serrano's outstanding performance in the Orange Empire Conference Championships earned her a spot in the postseason.

At the Orange Empire Conference Championships, Serrano showcased her talent and determination, earning impressive times in multiple events. In the 500 YD Free, she finished with a time of 5:36.80, securing fifth place and contributing 14 points to the team's total. In the 200 YD Free, Serrano finished with a time of 2:04.43, earning second place and adding 17 points to the team's score. Finally, in the 1650 YD Free, she finished with a time of 19:32.52, earning second place and another 17 points for the team.
