CYPRESS, CA – The nine-time state champions are ready to make another run at a state title following the release of the 2019 CCCAA Southern California Regional Softball Playoff bracket on Saturday afternoon.
The Cypress College softball team earned the No. 2 seed in the south and will host a best-of-three series against the second lowest remaining seed following the play-in round. The Chargers will host game one of the series on Friday at 2:00pm, followed by game two on Saturday at 12:00pm, with an if necessary game three scheduled for Saturday at 2:00pm
The Chargers finished the regular season ranked No. 3 in California, according to the April 26th 3CFCA Coaches Poll, posting a 34-6 overall record and 20-1 record in the Orange Empire Conference.
Tickets to the CCCAA postseason event are $12 for general admission and $8 for faculty, staff, students, senior citizens, and children. Weekend passes will not be available. Parking is free in Lot 5 (campus map).
