TORRANCE, CA - The Chargers swim team traveled to El Camino College for their first meet of the 2024 campaign. The men's swim team landed in sixth place at the Triple Distance Meet.
In the 50-yard freestyle event, Hernandez posted a seed time of 27.97 seconds. Despite facing tough competition, he delivered a strong performance, finishing with a time of 28.05 seconds and securing 14th place.
In the 100-yard freestyle, Hernandez continued to impress. With a seed time of 1:01.85, he pushed himself to the limit and touched the wall at 1:02.50, earning another 14th place finish.
The 200-yard freestyle proved to be a challenging event, but Hernandez rose to the occasion. With a seed time of 2:19.47, he demonstrated his endurance and determination, finishing with a time of 2:28.22 and securing yet another 14th place.
